She further honed her skills at La Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes La Esmeralda in Mexico City, a prestigious art school in Mexico. Her education continued with private tutelage from notable artists such as Teodulo Romulo, Rufino Tamayo, and Gilberto Aceves Navarro at the Antigua Academia de San Carlos.
